The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kufa held a workshop entitled”Adoption of Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Field of Medical Technologies.”
It included an Introduction to AI: Providing participants with a clear understanding of artificial intelligence, its underlying concepts, and its significance in medical technology.
Types of AI: Exploring different types of AI, such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, and how we can utilize them in medical contexts.
Applications in Medical Fields: Explaining how can integrated AI into medical, radiological, and laboratory fields to improve diagnostics, image analysis, data processing, and treatment planning.
It concluded with the Pros and Cons of AI, Explaining how it can integrate AI into the academic curricula for medical students, researchers, and teaching staff to equip them with the skills needed.
This workshop is a positive step towards preparing future medical professionals to harness AI’s power to improve healthcare and research.
