Vision

The university of Kufa aspires to be one of the leading universities at the national, regional and global levels in the field of scientific research and excellence in academic performance, by disseminating knowledge and its applications across scientific and societal fields through positive contributions to achieving sustainable development in the republic of Iraq.

Mission

Our university seeks to offer high quality academic programs and scientific consultation, and to develop core capabilities to compete with local and international university. It applies modern educational technologies that contribute in its scientific output and in its commitment to achieve sustainable education, while keeping its ethical values and responding to social, economic, environmental and climate changes. It also works on finding solutions to local and regional problems and challenges that may accompany these changes, which serves the purpose of fulfilling the aspirations of students, researchers, and stakeholders.

Objectives

1. The university aims to prepare qualified graduates in various fields of science by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge which is needed to make them outstanding leaders in their specializations and capable of meeting the demands of the labor market.
2. To expand and develop scientific research and use it in solving societal problems.
3. to develop education processes and innovate new learning styles by keeping pace with the rapid developments in information and communication technology and utilizing them to enhance teaching methods and content.
4. To establish cooperative relationships between the universities and invest in them at the national regional and the international levels.
5. To provide consultations for solving technical and scientific problems that society and governmental sectors may face.
6. To develop and enhance the administrative skills and capacities Within the university through designing programs and involving employees in them.
7. To sustain the developmental process of the university scientific and research capabilities ensuring strategic alignment and institutional and programmatic accreditations, accordance with international standards and requirements.
8. To instill social values and virtues to prevent wrong behaviors across all scientific and related fields.
