Message:

The Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Division aims to introduce chemical, biological, and radiological materials that threaten the security and safety of the university and society if misused. Additionally, the division focuses on safely disposing of hazardous waste and developing educational and cognitive capabilities related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear safety and security.

Objectives:

• Conducting regular inventories of chemical and biological materials under the supervision of specialized staff.
• Supervising the management of hazardous chemical and biological material stores.
• Establishing environmentally friendly incinerators for the disposal of harmful biological and chemical materials.
• Verifying the efficient use of materials, minimizing waste generation, and ensuring safe disposal.
• Conducting self-assessments of security vulnerabilities to assess the organization’s level of risk exposure.
• Establishing a management system for hazardous chemical, biological, and radiological incidents.
• Controlling chemical and biological materials that cause pollution by managing and evaluating associated risks.
