The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control at the Ministry of Planning granted a Patent for Dr. Abbas Al-Haddabi and Asst. Prof. Zainab Hassan (Faculty of Engineering, the University of Kufa) and Hassan Najim (Uuniversity of Babylon).The Patent granted for the findings of the study entitled ” Innovation of producing a new Cement Material from Waste for Construction Purposes”.
Al-Haddabi indicated that this Invention introduces a new cement material that can be collected from the results of the accidental mixing of a group of wastes. The materials used include three types of ash carefully selected to ensure chemical compatibility and reaction without the use of chemical catalysts.
