The Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics-University of Kufa organized an awareness workshop, “Cybersecurity and Its Implications on Societal and Institutional Security.”
It aimed to expand students’ knowledge base and raise awareness about cybersecurity among individuals and institutions, the risks threatening individuals and information systems amid rapid technological advancements.
Cybersecurity is urgently necessary to counter escalating digital threats, particularly cyberattacks and financial fraud.
It concluded with a student theatrical performance dramatizing the dangers of negligence in addressing cybersecurity.
