Karrar Shakir Al-Khafaji, an academic staff member at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kufa, presented a research paper at the Sixth International Scientific Engineering Conference on Research in Electrical Engineering Technologies, organized by the Middle Technical University – Technical Engineering College of Electrical Engineering, in collaboration with 15 governmental and private universities.
Titled “Design and Modeling of a 5G Communication System Antenna Using Machine Learning Algorithms”, the research focused on designing a compact microstrip antenna characterized by:
-High gain efficiency.
-Optimal impedance matching.
-Reduced simulation time and manufacturing costs.
The study introduced an innovative methodology involving:
-Antenna simulation using CST technology.
-Practical fabrication at the Ministry of Science and Technology laboratories.
-Performance modeling through machine learning algorithms to enhance accuracy.
The paper was selected as one of the best in “Computing and Communications” because it integrates three advanced manufacturing technologies and synergizes traditional software and artificial intelligence.
