Assistant Prof Dr. Ahmed Hamza from the Faculty of Education for Girls -University of Kufa participated in the Seventh International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences, organized by the Faculty of Education- University of Al-Qadisiyah.
He presented a scientific research paper titled “The Impact of Modern Strategies in Teaching Biology: An Applied Study on the I.D.E.A.L and R.E.A.P Strategies.”
The study included designing two tests to measure academic achievement and evaluate systemic thinking skills with a sample of 100 students. The results revealed that students who used the strategies outperformed their peers taught through traditional methods in academic achievement and systemic thinking.
In conclusion, the researcher recommended integrating modern strategies into biology teaching due to their effectiveness in enhancing academic performance and developing critical and systemic thinking skills among students.
