The Faculty of Pharmacy—University of Kufa held a seminar titled “Electrospun Nanofibers as an Advanced Method for Treating Wounds Caused by Diabetes.”
It aimed to explore the potential of using nanofibers as topical dressings to accelerate wound healing.
It concluded that electrospun nanofibers offer numerous advantages, including porosity and tunable properties, making them suitable for creating artificial matrices that aid in wound healing and the possibility of utilizing both natural and synthetic polymers in these fibers to enhance wound healing outcomes in diabetic patients.
