University of Kufa organized a course on “Solar Energy Uses.”
It aimed to introduce participants to the use of renewable energy and sustainable development to create sustainable environments and clean energy sources.
The lectures covered topics such as:
-There is a global trend towards using solar energy as an alternative to traditional energy sources that often rely on fossil fuels.
-The shift towards reducing environmental pollution associated with waste incineration.
-The importance of building waste recycling plants instead of disposing waste in landfills.
Other lectures focused on installing solar energy systems on the roofs of buildings, institutions, and homes.
