Prof. Dr Hassan Falah Fakhr al-Din, Faculty of Engineering, University of Kufa, published a joint scientific research paper, “A New Face Swap Detection Technique for Digital Images,” in the journal Advances in Systems Science and Applications.
The paper presents a new technique for detecting face swapping in digital images using watermarking.
It aims to verify the authenticity of a face in a digital image without the need for training, achieving a detection accuracy of 100%. The results demonstrated the proposed system’s high efficiency compared to deep learning and machine learning techniques.
The research concluded that this technique can be applied in various practical applications, enhancing its importance in information security and digital forensics.
