Information Technology Research and Development Center, in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics- University of Kufa, held a cybersecurity workshop on the impact of cybersecurity on community and institutional security by Asst.prof Bashar Alathari.
It aims to:
-Expand knowledge among students and raise awareness of cybersecurity among community members and institutions.
-Adopt plans and develop advanced methodologies for monitoring and analyzing threats using modern technologies and continuously developing them.
It included:
-The importance of cybersecurity and the need to identify common risks, attacks, and vulnerabilities.
-Gain deep insights into how to protect individuals and institutions.
-Verify information circulating online that negatively impacts community security.
-Review cases of electronic extortion and ways to protect community members and institutions and reduce risks.
