A delegation from the Faculty of Medicine—University of Kufa visited the University of Sulaymaniyah and American University to explore prospects for academic partnerships and the exchange of research expertise.
The visit included meetings with the Vice President of the University of Sulaymaniyah for Scientific Affairs and the deans of its medical faculties. Discussions focused on establishing joint research teams, exchanging scientific visits, collaborating on student and faculty training, and exploring the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement between the three universities.
The delegation visited the American University in Sulaymaniyah to discuss strategies for advancing academic programs in medical disciplines, implementing joint supervision of graduation projects, and leveraging modern technologies in teaching and clinical training.
This visit represents an important step towards strengthening partnerships between Iraqi and international universities, serving the interests of students and faculty, and enhancing the level of scientific research and medical education.
