The Faculty of Education for Girls – University of Kufa held a symposium on the dangers of pets and the diseases they transmit to humans.
It aimed to introduce the most prominent disease-carrying pets, the risks of diseases transmitted from them, and ways to control and prevent them.
It included lectures on the benefits of pets, ways of transmitting diseases from them, diseases transmitted by dogs, diseases transmitted by cats and birds, and ways to prevent diseases transmitted by pets.
It concluded that it is necessary to pay attention to the cleanliness of the place where pet breeders gather with their animals.
