The Faculty of Education – University of Kufa held a symposium “Drugs and Addiction – Effects, and Treatment Steps”.
It aims to introduce the psychological, health, and mental harms of drugs.
It included lectures on the classification of drugs according to their effect at the level of the central nervous system, lungs, heart, blood vessels, kidneys, and liver.
It recommended addressing the causes of addiction from psychological factors, anxiety, depression, psychological pressures, and poor personality formation.
