A teaching staff member at the faculty of engineering Dr. Haidar Hussain Al-Ghazali published a scientific research entitled “The efficiency of bonding between reinforcing steel and concrete for the large thresholds made of self-crushing concrete, containing a high percentage of fly ash” In the American Concrete Institute Journal. The study clarified the performance of iron bonding with self-crushing concrete containing a high percentage of fly ash produced by coal-fired power plants.
