The Department of English Language at the faculty of Education for Girls organized a seminar on “concrete and abstract nouns in English” by the assistant lecturer Iman Hameed Faraj, where the researcher tackled the definition of English nouns and their types with illustrative examples, then she clarified the idea of what is meant by abstract and concrete nouns and their most prominent qualities.
