The University of Kufa participated in an e-conference titled “Quality, Equality, and Sustainability in Education,” organized by the University of Oldenburg, Germany, in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
It included three key themes:
-Quality of Education: As a cornerstone for building a better future.
-Educational Equality: Ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all.
-Sustainability in Education: Integrating sustainability principles into educational systems.
The Goal 4 (SDG 4), which focuses on “ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all,” is a critical priority. Special attention was given to marginalized groups, including:
-Children with disabilities.
-Individuals residing in remote areas.
The conference discussed the necessity of:
-Strengthening international cooperation to empower educational systems.
-Supporting school infrastructure and training teaching staff.
-Providing essential financial and technical resources.
-Leveraging modern technology to broaden access to education.
