The Information Technology Research and Development Center—University of Kufa organized the first training workshop on automating university and ministerial operations as part of the digital transformation project launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance academic and administrative workflows across higher education institutions.
It explained the mechanisms for operating the electronic system, methods for accessing digital platforms, and the most prominent potential technical challenges users might encounter.
The workshop is a practical step toward implementing the Student Information System (SIS), which will automate university data and services.
The system aims to strengthen the electronic work environment, streamline administrative and academic procedures, and improve operational efficiency.
