Prof Dr. Hasan Mahdi Al-Khateeb, the Faculty of Engineering-University of Kufa, delivered a scientific lecture titled “Advanced Technological Methods in Water Treatment” during the proceedings of the 2nd International Scientific Conference on Environmental Technologies and Sustainable Development, hosted by Komar University of Science and Technology in Sulaymaniyah.
It included the role of scientific research and industrial innovation in advancing water treatment technologies, focusing on solutions that enhance water resource sustainability and reduce environmental pollution, the latest global trends in the field, and adopting cutting-edge technologies for treating drinking water, industrial water, and wastewater.
He presented a comprehensive vision for implementing advanced technologies in Iraq, the current state of the water treatment sector and its potential modernization to align with international standards.
