The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Kufa organized a specialized workshop on the programs of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The event was attended by the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Prof. Dr. Abbas Talib Al-Hudhabi, the Head of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Prof. Dr. Ammar Zwain, and the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Fatima Wanas, along with a distinguished group of academics and faculty members.
The workshop featured a lecture by Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, a faculty member in the Department of Astronomy and Space at the University of Baghdad and a DAAD representative. He presented the various opportunities provided by the organization, including scholarships, financial support, and mechanisms for promoting German studies and language at the international level.
The workshop aimed to strengthen academic cooperation between the University of Kufa and German universities, opening new opportunities for students and researchers through education and cultural exchange programs. This initiative contributes to the advancement of education and scientific research across various disciplines.
