In collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Nursing—University of Kufa held a workshop titled “Training on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technology to Combat Cyber Extortion.”
The aim was to enhance the technical knowledge of students and academic staff in confronting cybercrimes.
It included an explanation of the modern methods used by Cyber extortion and how to detect them using artificial intelligence techniques, a review of advanced programs for analyzing digital data and identifying suspicious sources, and the importance of community awareness of the dangers of Cyber extortion.
It concluded with developing of local applications based on artificial intelligence to monitor suspicious activities on social media platforms and strengthen cooperation between the university, government institutions, and the private sector to combat cybercrime.
