The Faculty of Education – University of Kufa organized a workshop on Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs),
It aims to introduce these networks as a pivotal model in machine learning, inspired by the biological neural networks in the human brain.
The workshop included a lecture covering the fundamental components of ANNs, including neurons, weights, biases, and various types of ANNs, such as
-feedforward neural networks
-convolutional neural networks
-long short-term memory networks.
It discussed the core layers of ANN architecture: the input, hidden, and output layers.
It concluded by emphasizing the widespread use of ANNs in diverse fields, particularly in image classification, natural language processing, time series forecasting, and medical diagnosis.
