The Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Kufa held a symposium”Overdoses of Medications.”
It aimed to raise awareness of the risks of medication overdose, identify its causes, and discuss ways to prevent it.
The symposium covered the following topics:
*The definition of medication overdose
*The different types of medications that can be overdosed (opioids, sedatives, stimulants, etc.)
*The signs and symptoms of medication overdose
*Statistics on medication overdose deaths
It concluded that medication overdoses are a significant public health crisis.
