The Faculty of Education for Girls-University of Kufa held a symposium on (early marriage).
It aimed to raise awareness of early marriage’s health, social, and economic consequences among youth and their families, promote health awareness and educate about the legal aspects of early marriage.
It included lectures on early marriage from a legal and educational perspective and its causes and prevalence.
It concluded with a call for the importance of planning for married life, providing legal protection for girls under 18, and enforcing laws and regulations related to early marriage.
